At least 90% of the major engine components are original to the vehicle and have been restored. Theengine was comprehensively rebuilt in the early 1990s and thoroughly refreshed again in 2013,alongside a complete rebuild of the transmission and suspension. A new DeWitts stack plate radiatorhas been installed for optimal cooling. The bumpers and window trim remain original and have beenpolished to a high shine, while a new wiring harness ensures reliability.
This Corvette rides on bolt-on Knock-Off style wheels wrapped in Diamondback redline tires. Theinterior has been expertly redone using Al Knoch materials, maintaining authenticity and comfort. TheLaguna Blue paint, applied last year by a highly regarded local specialist, is truly breathtaking inperson.
Additional features include upgraded speakers discreetly added to the jack compartment board, withthe original uncut board included. Other original parts—such as the steering wheel, door panels, sparetire, and door handles—are also included with the car.
Every system functions as intended, from the flip-up headlights and power antenna to the gauges andradio. This rare and exquisite Corvette is ready to be shown or enjoyed on the road.
